Don't Hate LGBT People, or Anyone Else for that Matter

“Again, if two lie together, they have heat: but how can one be warm alone?”- Ecclesiastes 4:11

Quite often, we are bombarded by hate and slander concerning our sexual orientation, by those who are neither gay, lesbian, transgender, or bi-sexual. But what baffles me the most is whose behind all of this wickedness?

Surely, it can’t be the Christians, because our Bible teaches us the message of love. And it certainly shouldn’t be the Muslims, because Islam is a religion of peace.

Perhaps its the foreign visitors, who are not secure in the American way; and unfamiliar with our Bill of Rights and Declaration of Independence.

Sadly, we continue to be at a lost as to who it could be that continues rallying against LGBT people. But for those who are walking in accordance to the Scriptures enacted by this country’s founding fathers, the words written by Apostle Paul were given to us to help us all gain the strength and hope we need during our darkest hours. And when we abuse those words and use them to orchestrate violence against another American citizen, we are in fact rooting the very evil the God of the Holy Bible detest!

That’s why it reads: And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbor, and love no false oath: for all these things I hate, saith the Lord. - Zechariah 8:17

In addition, the Word teaches us: Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God. - Matthew 22:29

Moreover, it instills, neither shall they say, Lo here! Or, Lo there! For, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. – Luke 17:21

Therefore, Jesus answered them and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me, If any man shall do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God of whether I speak of myself. –John 7:16 & 17

In closing, If any man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? – I John 4:20

Fellow Americans, the scriptures are an excellent catalyst to help us stamp out evil; perhaps that’s why it reads:

Conscience, I say, not thine own, but of the other: for why is my liberty judged of another man’s conscience? - I Corinthians 10: 29

…but by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want; that there may be equality. – 2 Corinthians 8:14

People, learn the words and learn them well… Like President Barack Obama states in his speech below...It Gets Better!
